Brock and Becca - Sailing On A Tall Ship (Soft Cover)

Excerpt: We crept up to the top of the stairs. I poked my head around the corner as far as I could. Lights were strung up at the stern and a man was sitting on a chair playing a guitar. Claude had arrived. I climbed over the bulwark. That is the piece of metal that divides the top step from the deck. It is high enough that I can?t step over it so I just sort of roll over the top. Becca does the same if Dad is not there to lift her over. Now we were both on the deck and pressed up against the metal framework. We were in darkness and I did not think anyone could see us. I spotted Mom and Dad. They were sitting beside the passengers Maurice and his wife, Beatty. Behind them were Claude?s two sons. They looked like teenagers. That meant they would not want to play with me. All the ship?s guests and some of the crew were there.
