Murder Shrieks Out (Soft cover)

Excerpt: While I sat and sipped, I watched through the patio door the pyrotechnics Mother Nature performed for her audience. The lightening flashed a jagged rent across the black sky, followed almost immediately by a resounding peal of thunder that crackled, then echoed, two, three times, eerily. The elm trees, which lined the walks throughout the townhouse complex swayed and bowed almost to the ground in the wild wind. The rain continued in full force and quickly made rivers of the gutters. It was an awesome sight and I sat enthralled. A sudden movement at the edge of the patio where bushes grew caught my eye, and startled, I jumped up. The light of the next bolt illuminated the grounds, and I clearly saw Ron standing there, looking into my house. Now more angry than frightened, I strode to the doors, and opening them, called out to him.
